Thinking of how to make your business more sustainable? A collab might be the answer instead! For shoe boutique DMK, working with #SGEcoFund grantee Semula was crucial to achieving a new, fresh look for their store while incorporating elements of sustainability.
♻ As a plastics upcycler, Semula champions zero waste by turning plastic bottles into furniture and artwork. This collaboration with DMK has allowed them to explore new ways to rework recycled plastic.
🤩 For instance, plastic bottles were recycled and moulded into slabs to form ‘waves’, bringing the vision of an oasis - the theme of DMK’s store in Plaza Singapura - to life.
In addition to the ‘waves’ (a permanent feature in DMK’s outlet), do also check out some of Semula’s upcycled furniture at the Project Green exhibition currently happening at Plaza Singapura. But hurry, the exhibition closes 7th May!
